What do I need to be me?
Hello Buds, we are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. Please watch the video to find out how to reach your new classroom.
This half term we will be learning all about ourselves and in a project called 'What do I need to be me?'
Please find below the project grid which shows what subject areas we will be covering.
There is also a homework grid where you can immerse yourself in the project at home by completing some of the activities. Please click on the link below.

The class email is a great way to keep communication as this is more difficult during drop off and pick up. Mrs Morgan and Mrs Fox will check the email daily and respond as promptly as possible.

Please bring your reading record to school every day. Children will be given the opportunity to change their reading books on a Monday and a Friday, however if they finish a book before then they are also welcome to change in-between.  Please listen to your child read their book at home every day - reading it more than once will increase your child's fluency and comprehension of the text.
Spelling quizzes will take place every Friday. You will be able to find the spelling list on our secure E Schools class page. They will be uploaded every Friday evening for the following week.
Number fluency:
Each week we will be focusing on a new area of maths to improve our mathematical fluency and speed of calculation. This could be a times table or counting in steps forwards and backwards. The maths focus will be uploaded on a Friday and the quiz will also be on a Friday - please also practise these at home throughout the week.
Children are also encouraged to use Numbots as part of their home learning. Numbots is an online game designed for boosting addition and subtraction skills. Playing little and often will significantly improve your child’s recall and understanding of number bonds and addition and subtraction facts. Certificates will be awarded weekly in school for each level achieved. Teachers will monitor children's progress and effort on Numbots.
